PS2 AC Adaptor Recall

I got an email from Sony Playstation today. I did fear I might fall in the early group of buyers that would require the change. I haven’t used my PS2 in a few weeks and it seems that to be on the safe side would be to disconnect it until I receive the AC adaptor replacement.

I heard that X-Box had a similar recall once. That’s what happens when they cut the price of a console and they use cheap compagnies to make smaller parts!

For a model that’s been out since September 2004 they sure took their time!

I’ve been doing some experiences for the past few months with linux, and today I’ve decided to make a much more permanent switch to Ubuntu, my favorite linux distribution. I intend to keep my Windows XP for games only and some programs I’ve grown used to. Put allocating 25GB to my linux partition is my way of saying good by to Windows authentification program…

iPod Nano: All that Shuffle was missing

I cursed Apple for making the iPod Shuffle affordable, but with no screen display. They heard my silent cry and created the iPod Nano. They made it with 2GB or 4GB space with a COLOR screen. Sure thing they know how to work around the competition and keep the iPod on the top list of the most wanted MP3 players of all time. We might have to consider a high price for this tech-baby but it sure is worth the thought.
